Georgia man arrested by the Seneca police

A traffic stop during the 2 o’clock hour this morning in Seneca prompted the police to file two charges against the driver, a resident of Royston, Georgia.  In the traffic stop at WN 1st and Fairplay streets, the police allege David Shane Spears had an open container of alcohol.  Beneath a blanket in the bed of the truck, according to the police, were tires and rims stolen May 15 from Lake Keowee Ford.  The police say a warrant was obtained to charge Spears with grand larceny.
