Gary Green

Salem – Gary Bruce Green, 61, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his residence.

 

Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Gary was the son of the late Bruce Harrison and Ressie Elmire McMahan Green.  Gary formerly worked in the textile industry, recently he was a painter by trade, a member of the National Guard, and a former member of the Salem Fire Department.  Gary had a great passion for music and he loved playing his guitar.

 

Bruce is survived by his son, Seth Green; daughters, Brooklyn Teske (William), Tasha Orr (Eddie); 8 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Caprice Green; and his niece and nephews, Brianna, Jared, and Ray.

 

In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry H. Green and Brian K. Green

 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2023 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
