From a bank to an animal hospital

The board of zoning appeals in Oconee County will sit in judgment later this month of an application for a special exception near Keowee Key.  The applicant, Keowee Animal Hospital, is requesting an exception to allow the former Wells Fargo bank on the Rochester Highway to be converted to a veterinary hospital.  The animal hospital seeks to keep the current and functional ATM there in place. The appeals board will consider the application at 6 o’clock Monday evening March 28 in the chambers of the Oconee County Council at Walhalla.
