Freddie Evett

 

Walhalla – William Fredrick “Freddie” Evett,75, husband of Deborah Ann Dempsey Evett of 39 years, passed away, June 1st, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

 

Freddie was born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late William and Julia Rose Evett. Freddie was a truck driver with Service Star for many years, and later retired from Oconee County as a truck driver and was a United States Army Veteran. Freddie attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and had a great love for his church family.

 

Freddie is survived by his sons; James Kennedy of Walhalla; Chad Evett and wife Kristen of Westminster; daughters, Kelley Evett Morehead of Westminster, Hope Fuller and husband Thomas; brothers, Jerry, Joe; sisters, Carolyn, Ann, and twelve grandchildren.

 

Freddie is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers; Harry Evett, Edward Evett; sister, Helen Turner.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 12th, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive following the service.
