Frances Wirtz

Westminster- Frances Phillips Wirtz, 81, wife of the late Ronny Wirtz, passed away on Sunday, February 18^th, 2024 at Seneca Health and Rehab.  

 

Born April 16^th, 1942, in Long Creek, South Carolina, Frances was the daughter of the late Bernice and Edna McDonald Phillips. Frances was a member of Weldon Road Baptist Church, and had a great passion for cooking, doing crossword puzzles, and enjoyed watching old westerns.  

 

Frances is survived by her son, Brian Phillips of Westminster; daughter, Stephanie Watkins of Seneca; five grandchildren, Daniel Phillips, Justin Phillips, Kimberly Watkins, Amber Watkins, and Rosalynn Phillips; and two sisters, Joyce Stockton, of Hickory Tavern, South Carolina, Ruby Nell Proctor of Westminster.

 

Frances is preceded in death by her brothers, Norman Phillips, JB Phillips, and sisters, Dorothy Williams, Nadine Fleming, and Betty Jean Graham; and a granddaughter, Ashley Watkins.  

 

A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 21^st, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
