Four arrested related to weekend robbery

A description of get away vehicles and direction of travel eventually led sheriff’s officers in two counties to apprehend four armed robbery suspects.  The crime was reported early Sunday morning on the Rock Crusher Road,  where one of the robbers held a gun on the victim and the others assaulted him and stole property.  One vehicle was stopped near Westminster; the other, however, led officers on a chase into Anderson County, where deputies there used stop sticks to apprehend two people in that vehicle.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office announces charges against the following four people:  Kenrick Lamont Heard, 44, of Hartwell, Georgia; Joshua Allen McCurley, 28, of highway 187, Anderson; Michelle Elizabeth Elgin, 37, of West-Oak Highway, Westminster; and Audrina Marie Rich, 28, of Persimmon Road, Townville.  The investigation continues, and a Crimestoppers cash reward is possible for information that leads to the identity of what are called “other suspects involved.”
