For the vaccine, additional and clarifying information

As long as current supply lasts, Prisma Oconee Memorial Hospital is accommodating walk-ins for first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.  The entrance for the vaccine clinic is the Outpatient Entrance of the hospital.  You should park in the Outpatient parking lot and walk-in under the Outpatient canopy.  The clinic is on the first floor of the Patient Tower.  For the Oconee hospital clinic, walk-ins must be registered with “VAMS” — the Vaccine Administration Management System of the CDC.  To submit your name to be registered, visit www.prismahealth.org/vaccine or call 833-2PRISMA.  Registration requires an email address.  Each person must have his or her own unique email address.  Couples may not use the same address.  People who do not own a computer or know how to create an email address can get vaccinated at the Greenville site in the former Kmart near Greenville Memorial Hospital.  Those people should call 833-2PRISMA or visit a local public library for assistance.  If you come to Oconee Memorial without an email address, the hospital won’t vaccinate you today, but will take information and submit it so they can be vaccinated in the near future.
