For the town’s leaders, it’s re-organization time

At their November meeting next week, West Union leaders will re-organize–based on the results of this week’s elections.  The mayor and all four council members return to office without any ballot opposition this past Tuesday night.  And, on Tuesday night next week, Mayor Oliver and the re-elected council members will take the oath of office for new terms.  The ceremony will be conducted by Judge and West Union resident Alex Macaulay.  In the meeting, the mayor will appoint her pro-tem and, among other business, the council will consider the high water bill charged to one of their customers.
