Food drive partnership

The Westminster Elementary Student Council and the Women’s Committee of the Oconee County Farm Bureau have partnered in a winter service project. The student council sponsored a food drive for the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville. Students collected over seven large boxes of snack food. The hope is that the snacks will provide the families served by the Ronald McDonald House with some comforts of home during their stay there. Donations will be delivered by Farm Bureau Women representatives. The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas is to keep families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need.
