Food boxes, water, personal hygiene items….

A Church of Christ disaster relief project is making possible a free, drive-through giveaway near Seneca this afternoon of food, water, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, infant supplies, and clothing for this week’s tornado victims.  The location to pick up these items will be the Seneca Church of Christ on 123, the Seneca-Clemson Corridor, located between Keowee Dodge and the Food Lion shopping center between the hours of 1 and 5 pm.  Until supplies are depleted, the relief project will continue through subsequent days.  To qualify, you must show driver’s license or some proof of I-D.  There will be a brief interview to determine an individual or a family’s need.  According to David Langley, preacher at Seneca Church of Christ, the relief project is made possible by donations to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief in Nashville, Tennessee and by the following local churches: Williams Street Church of Christ, the Seneca Church of Christ, and the Clemson Church of Christ.
