Focus in July on a devastating brain disease

Senator Lindsey Graham introduced a resolution last week to set July 20 as Glioblastoma Awareness Day.  “Glioblastoma is a devastating brain disease that has taken the lives of two my very close friends and colleagues, Ted Kennedy and my dearest friend John McCain.”  The resolution urges collaboration between brain tumor researchers so that this form of cancer may be eradicated.  Besides recognizing those who’ve died from the disease, it honors those who today are living with it.
