Fire fighters recognized for their response to Bountyland fire

The Seneca fire fighters who answered the first call Saturday to that scorching fire in Bountyland Community received a tip of the fireman’s cap last night from their employers, the Seneca City Council. Mayor Dan Alexander commended the fire department for its work to put a stop to a fire that raged through 12 units at the storage unit complex on Industrial Park Drive behind highway 28. It was quite an experience for new fire fighter Jacob Brewer. He fought his first fires in his career—the one at Bountyland and the other in Westminster.
