Fire damages trailer at Goodwill

An early morning fire at the back of the Goodwill store near Seneca has been extinguished, and it appears Goodwill will be able to do business today, in the opinion of the fire chief.  When fire fighters arrived around 3 this morning, they first thought the back warehouse attached to the building was afire.  But they discovered that the fire was inside a trailer attached to one of the three warehouse bays.  Chief Caudill says the bay door blocked the fire from penetrating the building.  Two and a half hours after being alerted, fire fighters remained on the scene to douse hot spots.  Meantime, investigators started to try to determine why the fire started in the trailer.  A wrecker moved the fire-damaged trailer away from the warehouse bay.
