“Expressway to Tiger Town” partnership

An expansion of an education collaborative is designed to help Oconee County high school students and other nearby high schoolers follow a pathway to an education degree at Clemson University.  Oconee School District and four other nearby districts are partnering with Clemson and Tri-County Technical College in an “Expressway to Tiger Town” that will offer a curriculum path for students as early as 10th grade. Those student can take dual credit courses, then go to Tech, where they could earn an associate by finishing the first half of their education program before pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Clemson.  It’s an envisioned as a pipeline for future school teachers.
