Evelyn Hawkins
Westminster – Allie Evelyn Price Hawkins, 93, wife of the late Melvin Lamar Hawkins, passed away on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at Dominion Senior Living – Clemson.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Leslie Price and Essie Langston Price. Evelyn was retired from Jantzen, a member of Westminster Baptist Church and she enjoyed reading, cross stitching and traveling.
Evelyn is survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Doug), Jeffrey Lamar Hawkins (Debra); great grandchildren, Jessica Rogers, Adam Rogers (Hazel), Evan Rogers, Kristin Rogers, Seth Hawkins, Selena Hawkins, Alexis Hawkins; great great-grandchild, Raleigh Hawkins; and sisters, Dorothy Avant and Mary Jo Donald.
In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her son, Larry Lamar Hawkins; daughter in law, Shirley Hawkins; brother, Ray Price; and sister, Juanita Chastie.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at East View Cemetery.
