Eugene Dickson
Lady Lake, Florida – Eugene Charles Dickson, 81, passed away January 23rd, 2023 at AdventHealth – Lake Wales, Florida.
Born in Westminster, SC, Eugene was the son of the late Samuel J. Dickson and Pearl E. Cappell. Eugene was retired as an Instructor of HVACR at Indian River State College, a United States Navy veteran, and was of the Baptist Faith. Eugene was an avid traveler, enjoyed going to yard sales, researching ancestry, and spending time with his family.
Eugene is survived by his sons, Kenneth John Dickson (Elba), Kirk James Dickson (Teresa); daughters, Kimberlee Jo Thomas, Kelly Janis Hansell (Gregory); brothers, Thomas Howard Dickson (Essie), Curtis Milton Dickson (Sandra), Edwin Lawrence Dickson; sister, Helen Burrell (Percy); 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Grant.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at First Baptist Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
