Elizabeth Mills

Myrtle Beach, SC — Elizabeth Metcalf Dickson Mills, 73, wife of Frederick Robert Mills, of 121 Cloey Road, Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at her home.

 

A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. Mills was the daughter of the late James Edward and Lizzie Mozelle Baker Metcalf. During her career Mrs. Mills worked at Clemson University as a computer analyst for 30 years, and at Seneca Light and Water as an Administrative Assistant for 15 years. She was the longest serving officer of the America’s Clogging Hall of Fame, now known as The Original ACHF, 1981, for 36 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

 

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mills is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC; and sister, Joyce Terhaar and her husband, Joe of Plymouth, MN.

 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her first husband, William Harris Dickson; brother, Anthony Metcalf; and sister, Linda “Cookie” Alexander.

 

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca, SC.

The family is at their respective homes.
