Electric power wholesale charge to be determined

A meeting next month in Greer will likely determine whether there’s any change to the charge that Westminster will have to pay next year for its electric power supply.  The 2022 calendar year rates are to be considered by the board of “PMPA”—the consortium of municipalities from which Westminster gets its wholesale electric power supply.  Westminster’s voting member of the board, City Administrator Kevin Bronson, said last week, “As of today no rate increases are expected; however, until the Board votes, it is an open matter.”
