Electric power supply matters face Westminster

Several matters highlight the agenda for a special meeting next week of the Westminster City Council. The meeting will take place at 6 o’clock Tuesday night in the City Hall Conference Room. Two of those matters involving the city’s electric power provider are divided between the open part of the meeting and the executive session, planned at the end of the special meeting. During open session, the mayor and council will talk about the city’s representation to its electric power consortium, PMPA. And during closed session, there is to be discussion of negotiations of a proposed “contractual arrangement” between the city and PMPA. The council is to take time Tuesday to review a list of dwellings deemed unfit for humans and a resolution “directing the removal or demolition of the structure.” The council will discuss the idea of a city hall and magistrate’s office project including a review of the request for qualifications from architects and engineers.
