Durham pens op-ed piece

Matthew Durham, re-nominated in the June Republican primary, says the results of Oconee County voting are a sign of “a broader, sustained conservative movement that is reshaping South Carolina politics.  And the  county council chairman points to Adam Duncan winning the GOP nomination to succeed Bill Sandifer in the South Carolina House as most notable in significant victories for their conservative vision.  Durham has released an op-ed piece to run in both The Journal and the Charleston Post and Courier.  In part, he writes, “Our philosophy is simple:  you cannot save America if you do not first save your own backyard.  America First begins at home, and Oconee County is now poised to be a model of conservative governance.”
