Douglas Claude Rogers

West Union, SC — Douglas Claude Rogers, 75, husband of the late Nancy Jean Rogers, of 131 Doc Sanders Circle, West Union, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

A native of Oconee County, SC, Mr. Rogers was the son of the late Claude and Ploma Burrell Rogers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his daughters: Stephanie Rogers, of Walhalla, SC and Shannon Hunter of West Union, SC; brother: Tommy Rogers of Walhalla, SC; sisters: Patsy Palmer of Atlanta, GA, Doris Lesley of Marietta, SC and Judy Wilson of Salem, SC; grandchildren: Amanda Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Joe Rogers, Tyler Hunter, Ashley Hunter and Andrew Hunter; and great-grandchildren: Jaley Kimbrell, Georgia Rogers and Jaxon Rogers.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his brother: Rickey Rogers; and sisters: Wanda Wilson and Betty Crowe.

All services will be private.
