DONALD OWENS

Mountain Rest – Donald Dwight Owens, 79, husband of the late Tonie Rebecca Price Owens, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, February 06, 2024, at his residence.

Born January 3^rd, 1945, in Oconee County, SC, Donald was the son of the late William Russell and Eunice Bell Stephens Owens.  Donald was retired from West Point Stevens and a member of Tri-City Baptist Church.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Tammy Wilbanks, and husband Stephen; brothers, Derrell Owens, and Jerry Owens; sisters, Sally Burdette, and Janice Pressley; and 4 grandchildren, Taylor Grace Owens, Bethany Rose Owens, Jordan Wilbanks, and Ethan Wilbanks.

In addition to his wife and parents, Donald is preceded in death by his son, Rev. Scottie Dwayne Owens; brothers, Dink Owens, Gary Owens, and Ronnie Owens.

 

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Heritage Memorial Gardens.  No formal visitation will be held.
