Domestic violence case investigated near Westminster

Oconee law enforcement records show the arrest early today of a Westminster area man, Donnie Wayne Wheeler of Sims Street, on the charge of domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.  The arrest warrant alleges Wheeler “did cause physical harm or injury to Victim and said act was accompanied by circumstances of aggravation in that Defendant shot Victim in the upper back with a .380 Hi-Point handgun.”
