Dollar General door kicked in, Senecan arrested

Law enforcement is pinning responsibility on a young Seneca man for store burglary last summer near the city limits.  The sheriff’s office today announced charges against Skyland Drive resident Aundarius Rickshawn Lowery.  Eighteen-year old Lowery was arrested Wednesday and charged with second degree burglary, petty larceny, and malicious injury to real property early morning hours August 6 at the Dollar General on Friendship Road.  He’s accused of stealing cigarettes and a case of soft drinks.  Investigators noted Dollar General front door damage and evidence that multiple individuals had gotten inside and goods were stolen.  The sheriff’s office is attempting to identify other suspects and the public is invited to call with any worthwhile tips.  Thru Crimestoppers, there’s the possibility for a cash reward for the right information.
