Dog stabbed twice, arrest made

A young Oconee County man was arrested during the Christmas week and charged with ill treatment of animals. According to a warrant issued by Magistrate Daniel Pollock, Joshua Daniel Marshall is accused of stabbing a dog two times in the stomach, resulting in the dog’s death. The crime is alleged to have occurred December 16 in the Earles Grove Community. Nineteen-year old Marshall was arrested by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office on Monday, December 23.
