Disturbing church incident near Seneca

Oconee Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says his officers discovered no gun in the possession of a young man who was the subject of a disturbing church incident last night at the Foothills Church on the Bountyland Road. That man, however, has been placed on trespass notice and charged with disturbing place of worship—a youth service at the church. The man, now identified as 22 year old Damon O’Neal Johnson, was arrested after three sheriff’s officers investigated a complaint that a man made a threat against people at the church. The county officers interviewed an off-duty Seneca policeman who was attending church and requested charges be filed.
