Dennis Sorrells

Seneca – Dennis Jerome Sorrells, 68, passed away Friday, December 23^rd, 2022 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

   Born December 12^th, 1954, in Oconee County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Paul Stancil Sorrells and Virginia Maire Jones Sorrells. Dennis was a retired Truck Driver,

who enjoyed the lake, spending time with his family and friends and was a member of Utica Baptist Church.

 

   Survivors include his life partner of over 24 years, Martha Ross Brookshire; brother, Anthony Wayne Sorrells (Ann); step-daughter, Tina Brookshire; step-son, Tony Waldron; seven grandchildren, Brianna, Natalie, Madison, Nathaniel, Olivia, Aaron and Nathan.

 

   In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Sidney Paul Sorrells; and a sister, Wanda Lou Sorrells

 

   A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 29^th, 2022, at Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
