Democrats to raise money in virtual meeting

Concerns over COVID-19 have changed the particulars for this year’s fundraising event of the Oconee Democratic Party.  The county Democrats are going thru with their plans for their 8th annual fundraiser.  But this one on Saturday, July 25 will be a virtual meeting.  Tickets are $25. Food may be picked up at party headquarters in Walhalla between 3 and 5 that afternoon.  The virtual meeting with speakers and entertainment will start at 6 o’clock.  Among the headline speakers is Jaime Harrison, the Democrat who is challenging Republican Lindsey Graham’s seat in the U-S Senate.
