Deborah Williams

 

West Union – Deborah Dodgins Williams, 71, passed away Saturday, July 24th, 2021.

 

Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Swafford Dodgins.  Deborah retired from Kendall where she was an operator. Deborah had a great love for crafting and cooking, but her greatest passion was her family, and she was a member of North Walhalla Church of God

 

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Donna Parker and husband Dale; step-sons, Harold Lee Williams, Jr., and Fabian Dale Williams; step-daughters, Shelby Blackwell, Ladonna Hill, Tina Gail Griffin, and Paula Grubbs; brother, Ed Speed of Aiken; sister, Brenda Smith of Darlington; two grandchildren, Joshua Parker and wife Christina and Zachary Parker and wife Ashley; three great grandchildren, Braelynn Parker, Connor Parker and Rowen Parker.

 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Bert Williams and Harold Lee Williams; son, Bobby Williams; brothers, Lloyd Speed, Norman Speed, Harmon Speed; sister, Lois Robinson.

 

A funeral service will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow in South Union Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
