Debbie Elmore

Westminster, SC- Deborah Ann Elmore, age 58, formerly of Clover, SC passed away June 16, 2022 in Toccoa, GA. “Debbie” was the only daughter of the late Charles Thomas Harrell and Lovenia McCorquodale, born on March 25, 1964, in Emporia, VA.

Debbie is preceded in death by her biological father, “Tommy” Harrell, her Daddy, Billy McCorquodale, and the true love of her life, Jeffrey Neal Hagans.

Survivors include her Mother, Lovenia “Lovie” McCorquodale of Seneca, SC; daughters, Shannon Hagans Clinton (Robert) of Kings Mountain, NC; Kimberly Hagans Bundy of Dallas, NC; grandchildren, Taylor Ann Correll, Logan Neal Bundy, and Ella Jean Clinton. Her very special aunt and uncle, Charles and Tina McCorquodale; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Her life-long friend, Ken Whitt of Clover, SC and her beloved chihuahua, Bell.

Debbie attended Clover High School. In her early years, she worked in the textile industry. Later in her life, she found her true passion of being a caregiver and homemaker. She loved being with her family and giving them her all. She also enjoyed being outdoors, riding motorcycles, cooking, and had tremendous passion for her music. Being a grandmother was one of her most proud accomplishments.

“Granny Debbie” was loved by all that met her.  A mother’s pride and joy, a daughter’s best friend, and her grandchildren were showered with endless love. She was a gentle, kind and loving soul. She always put others before herself and did so with a servant’s heart. Her laughter was contagious.  She had a free spirit that is eternally free with God’s protection now. She will be missed by all whose live she touched.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on July 1st, 2022 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, York, SC. A celebration of life will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, York, SC. Pallbearers will be Todd Fields, Joey Barber, Rusty Correll, Andy Johnson, Eddie Hans, and David Hayes.
