Day two in the Ellenburg Road property trial

The plaintiff continued today calling witnesses in its case in Ratliff v. Oconee County, in the second day of a civil trial whose origins date back to a board of zoning appeals’ decision.  One source has predicted to 101.7/WGOG NEWS that the trial will take three days.  And, just before the lunch break, attorney David Paavola told Judge McIntosh his side plans to call five more witnesses to the stand.  The witness testifying before the lunch break was a surveyor.  In cross-examination, defense attorney Andrew Holliday sought to establish that Ellenburg Road was considered a public road and he questioned the surveyor about the proper steps one must follow in abandoning a public road.
