David A. Smith

Westminster– David Albert Smith, 64, husband of Ginger Nell Moss Smith passed away Sunday, December 12th, 2021 at his residence.

 

Born in Fulton County, Georgia, David was the son of Maxine Wilson Smith of Soddy Daisy, TN and the late John Wesley Smith, Jr.  David was an Auto Body Repair Technician, was of the Church of God Faith, an avid outdoorsman, and a CB operator known as “Goatboy”.

 

In addition to his wife of 41 years, David is survived by sons, Johnathan Smith and Curtis Smith of Westminster; daughter, Marsha Burns of Westminster; brother, John W. Smith III of Seneca; sisters, Rebecca Hale of Soddy Daisy, TN, Ruth Ann Sullivan of Westminster, Deborah Kay Egolf of Seneca; grandchildren; Alyssa Burns, Skyla Burns, James Smith, Emma Smith, Brantley Smith, Makaylynn Smith, Maddy Smith, Ethan Gibson, Lizzy Medlin; great-grandchild, Korbyn Price; special friend, Tim Barron of Westminster; and many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his father, David is predeceased by his brother, Mark W. Smith.

 

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends and family from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
