DARLENE CROWE
Newry- Brenda Darlene Crowe, 62, passed away Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Spokane, Washington, Darlene was the daughter of the late Billie Aaron Crowe and Brenda E. Peace Crowe of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Darlene worked for many years in the accounting field and was last employed with her son, Brian, at his business, Finch Automotive. Darlene was an avid music lover, was known as a hippy with a free spirit, and was a best friend to many, loved by everyone.
Darlene is survived by her children, Douglas Lee Watson, Jr of Newry, Eric Dwayne Watson and wife Heather of Bradenton, Florida, Brian Alan Watson and wife Amanda of Seneca, and John Matthew Holder and wife Savannah of Walhalla; a brother, Allen Dell Crowe of Seattle, Washington; and nine grandchildren, Keith Aaron Watson, Johnathan Eli Watson, Ryan Ice, Haleigh Ice, Connor Watson, Brianna Ashten Watson, Brooke Madison Watson, Cameron Ellis Watson, and Liam Vandiver Holder.
In addition to her father, Darlene was preceded in death by her sister, Denise Brooks, and her first husband, Douglas Lee Watson, Sr.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel The family will receive friends and family 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
