Danny Ray Gilliam
Westminster – Danny Ray Gilliam, 65, husband of Jean Pitts Gilliam, passed away Monday, August 24th, 2020 at his home.
A native of Oconee County, Danny was the son of the late Darby Gilliam and Mollie Suttles King. He was formerly employed with Beacon Manufacture as a maintenance supervisor. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, gardening, and enjoyed martial arts. Danny attended Harvest Church and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jean Pitts Gilliam; sons, Danny Ray Gilliam Jr., David Gilliam; daughter, Misty Snow; step-son, Robert Walden; brothers, Joe Gilliam, Daryl Gilliam, Doug Gilliam, Donny Gilliam, Melvin Gilliam, Frank Gilliam; sisters, Peggy Smith, Susie Moore; and numerous grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by a brother, David Gilliam.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Thursday, August 27th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
