Daniel Stancil, III
Westminster – Daniel Elijah Stancil, III, 5, passed away on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Daniel was the son of Alvin Ray Barnes and Shara Lynn Burrell Barnes. Daniel was always happy and loved life. He loved, firetrucks, tractors, cars and his dogs, Lucy, Gus and Buddy.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his biological mom, Amanda Lea Bryant; biological dad, Elijah Stancil, Jr; brothers, Tyler Barnes, Jacob Thompson, Zack Stancil, Billy Stancil; sisters, Kaitlyn Barnes, Lilly Stancil, Jane Stancil; uncles, David Barnes (Lisa), Robbie Mason; aunts, Tammy Campbell, Kelly Waldrop (Blade), Tracy Carter (Joe); grandfather, Charles Burrell; grandmother, Margaret Barnes; and numerous cousins.
Daniel is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Burrell; grandfather, Alvin Barnes, and his aunt, Charlene Mason.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm, Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Calvary Church. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, prior to the service, at the church.
