Dabo Swinney

Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney has a massive new contract that will keep him at the University through at least the 2031 season, approved by the Clemson University Board of Trustees Thursday morning.  Swinney’s new contract is worth $115M over 10 years, making him the second-highest paid coach in the country at an average annual value of $11.5M. He’d previously signed a 10-year, $93M deal in 2019 and had seven years remaining on that contract.  Swinney’s fifth-ranked Tigers opened their season Monday with a 41-10 win over Georgia Tech. They host Furman on Saturday in Death Valley for their home opener.  South Carolina travels to #16 Arkansas tomorrow at noon, #2 Georgia host Samford at 4pm.
