Credit card fraud victimizes Oconeean
Since last summer, a Seneca area man has been victimized by credit card fraud in the amount of $5 thousand. If you can help identify the suspected fraudster, you could qualify for a cash reward through the Oconee County Crimestoppers fund. Last summer a credit card was obtained using personal identifying information of the victim. A county financial crime investigator is hopeful members of the public can identify a black male, who wears glasses, but whose face was covered by a mask in surveillance camera pictures. The suspect may have ridden in a Mercury Grand Marquis, late 1990s or early 2000 model.
