Craig Mobley returns to the Clemson campus

If a Clemson fan can remember the contributions that Craig Mobley made to the athletic program, that fan likely will have a long memory.  For it was in 1968 that the scholarship student-athlete, a basketball player, became Clemson’s first African-American scholarship student-athlete in any sport.  Those at last night’s Seneca City Council were told this by Rhondda Thomas, who continues to document the black experience in the Clemson University community.  Thomas says Mobley will be back on campus next week and she plans to interview him.
