COVID money to help Anderson County residents

A partnership between Anderson County and the Anderson Interfaith Ministries will put COVID relief money into the hands of county residents who qualify for rental and utility assistance.  According to Rusty Burns, county administrator, there’s more than $6 million dollars to go around from the Emergency Rental Assistance Program of the U-S Treasury Department.  The ministries organization will manage the program from its headquarters at 1202 S. Murray Avenue in the city of Anderson.  Residents across Anderson County can find out if they qualify by completing an online application at https://covidrelief.aimcharitysc.org or call 833/977-RENT(7368).
