COVID-19 symptom tests start within minutes

At the top the hour (10 am) Prisma Health in Seneca starts four hours of off-site testing for COVID-19.  The location is the back parking area of the Blue Ridge Elementary School.  These screenings are designed to test for the disease and do not require a doctor’s order.  The tests are being given over a four-hour period today and are being conducted regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.  There are indications that this first, concentrated testing today in Seneca will reflect the extent to which the general public is worried about catching the spreading disease.  Similar four-hour satellite tests by Prisma brought out 190 people in Columbia and 281 in Taylors near Greenville.
