A homeowner near Seneca sustained burns and possibly smoke inhalation, according to the Corinth-Shiloh Fire Department, in a Saturday night fire in the Enchanted Hills subdivision. Chief Christenbury says smoke alarms awoke the occupants of 3608 Brookfield Drive. The husband in that home was sent by a Medi-copter to the Burn Center at Augusta, Georgia — after a landing zone was established at the nearby Gary Watson Drive. According to the chief: “Cause of fire is undetermined at this time.”
