Cory Lingefelt

Westminster– Cory Alan Marion Lingefelt 36, husband of Crystal Holcombe Lingefelt, passed away Monday, March 4^th, 2024 at Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House.

 

Born June 18^th, 1987, in Anderson, South Carolina, Cory was the son of Billy Alan Lingefelt of Seneca, South Carolina and Jeanette McKenzie, of Louisa, Kentucky. Cory worked with Madison Wood Products and was an avid Clemson and Pittsburg Steelers fan.

 

Cory is survived by his wife, Crystal Holcombe Lingefelt; step-children, Myles Holcombe, Alexis Holcombe, and Bentley Holcombe; brothers, Tony McKenzie of Louisa, Kentucky, Chauncey Lingefelt of Westminster, South Carolina; grandparents, Kenneth McKenize of Kentucky, Mary Swords of Kentucky, Billy and Ethel Lingefelt of Seneca, South Carolina; and numerous, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Berkley.

 

Cory is preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Hartwell.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date closer to his birthday.

The family will receive friends and family, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 7^th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
