Cora Burton
Westminster – Cora Lee Burton, 85, loving wife of Lex William Burton, passed away on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 at Prisma Health – Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Cora was the daughter of the late Alvin Massey Lee and Nettie Caronia Rothell Lee. Cora was a loving and devoted housewife who loved to cook and bake for others and she attended Rider Mountain Holiness Church.
Cora is survived by her loving husband of 65 years; sons, Tony Burton (Pam), Tim Burton; grandchildren, Jared Burton, Jordan Burton, Jason Burton; and brother-in-law, Harold Cannon.
In addition to her husband and parents, Cora is preceded in death by her brother, Garvin Lee and her sister, Eva Cannon.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
