Cops performed live-saving measures in Utica

A new major crime impacts the community of Utica near Seneca.  Sheriff’s officers are trying to find the person or persons responsible for the death of a Pendleton man who had taken up residence at Utica’s 14 Padgett Street.  The body of Richard Dennis Keese, 62, was found late Tuesday night in front of the home.  Deputies were sent there shortly before midnight after reports of gun shots fired.  They, along with Seneca officers and paramedics, tried life-saving measures, but to no avail.  Master Deputy Jimmy Watt says relevant information that anyone in the public has could help solve the homicide
