Convenience store worker arrested on multiple charges

A 23-year old employee of a s. highway 11 convenience store in Oconee County faces multiple charges after her arrest early last night by the sheriff’s office.  Law enforcement records show Savannah Taylor Webb was charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent and defrauding the lottery.  A deputy sheriff started an investigation August 24 after speaking with a lost prevention employee for Stop-A-Minit.  The breach of trust warrant alleges Webb received in trust cash and education lottery winnings valued at $5,400 belonging to Stop-A-Minit.
