After a historic NCAA Tournament for the Clemson men, the basketball team returned home to Littlejohn Coliseum Sunday evening. The No. 6 Tigers were welcomed by fans who showed their love for the team, who fell to the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide in the Elite Eight Saturday night. One of those fans, Alexander Facey, was dressed up in an all-orange suit wearing an orange and purple wig in support of his beloved Tigers. “It sucks we lost but I think we’re all just really happy we were able to make it this far,” Facey said. [It’s] the second time ever in school history we made it this far, so I think we’re all pretty happy with the outcome,” he continued. The Tigers finish the season with a 24-12 record, the best since the 2017-18 season. The Men’s Final Four is set with NC State vs Purdue next Saturday night at 6:09pm and Alabama vs UConn at 8:49pm on CBS.
