College Baseball

The Clemson Tigers scored four runs in the fifth inning and seven runs in the sixth inning to defeat Georgia Tech 14-5 at Russ Chandler Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers improved to 15-10 overall and 2-4 in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets, who won the series 2-1, fell to 16-8 overall and 5-4 in ACC play.  The Tigers travel to Columbia, S.C. to take on College of Charleston on Tuesday at 6 p.m.  The University of South Carolina baseball team swept a doubleheader and a three-game series against No. 22 Missouri Saturday afternoon (March 25) at Founders Park. The Gamecocks won game one, 8-1, and used an Ethan Petry walk-off single in the bottom of the 12th to win the nightcap, 5-4.  Carolina visits Charleston, S.C., and The Citadel on Tuesday night (March 28) at 7 p.m. at Joe Riley Park.
