Clemson faculty member Kelly Caine heads this summer to an island country between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans. And Clemson says when Caine goes to Iceland as a Fulbright Scholar, she will plant a flag for the U-S, for Clemson, and for her hometown of Greenville. She plans to research and teach cybersecurity at the University of Iceland starting in August as part of the U-S Fulbright Program. It’s considered a prestigious honor aimed at encouraging cultural and educational exchange. Caine plays the cello and credits Greenville County public school teachers with help putting her on the road to a Fulbright Award.
