City and county sanitation announcements

On this holiday week, all Oconee County recycle centers will operate tomorrow (Wednesday). But they’ll be closed on both Thursday and Friday to allow the employees time to enjoy Thanksgiving.  They’ll re-open at regular time Saturday morning.  The city of Walhalla will follow this holiday week schedule:  Trash pickups through tomorrow take place on schedule.  For Thursday customers, the pickup will be tomorrow (Wednesday).  Please have roll carts out by 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.
