Christmas parade time tonight in Seneca

Looks like nature will cooperate for Seneca Christmas parade time at 6 o’clock tonight.  Although the forecast is cold, conditions are expected to be clear.  If it’s the Monday following Thanksgiving, you can pretty well count on the time and date for Santa and the rest of the crowd to make their way through the downtown streets.  Mr. Parade Chairman, Julian Davis, believes organizers have come up with ways to help parade goers enjoy in safe ways so as to avoid catching COVID-19. He predicts there will be ample opportunity to safely distance and, for those not wishing to brave the fresh air, stay seated in your car in the Norton Thompson parking lot is another way to take in the event.  A live video of the parade is scheduled for broadcast.  The city’s official start to the Christmas season is the tree lighting at 5 o’clock at the park.
